In May 2018, Dora Agri conducted a test of fish protein organic fertilizer on wine grapes in Yantai and verified its application effect on wine grapes. Field test results show that fish protein organic fertilizer has a good promoting effect on the growth and development of grape leaves, and also has obvious effects on grape yield and sugar content.
Fish Protein on Wine Grape
The tested fertilizer is Dora Fish Protein Organic Fertilizer, provided by Suzhou Dora Agri-Tech Co., Ltd, with a total protein ≥40% and a small peptide ≥32%.
Treatment | Dry weight of hundred of leaves (g) | Fresh weight of hundred of leaves (g) | Leaf Thickness (mm) | Leaf Area (cm2) | Weight Per Ear (kg) | Soluble Solid (%) | Yields (kg) |
CK | 138 | 340 | 0.446 | 22.2 | 0.142 | 17.83 | 82.7 |
Foliar Spray | 159 | 482.5 | 0.476 | 27.9 | 0.19 | 17.55 | 107.7 |
Foliar Spray + Soil Application | 191 | 596.7 | 0.522 | 30.3 | 0.192 | 18.91 | 113.0 |
1. Effect on Wine Grape Growth
Effect on the growth and development of grape leaves: With the application of fish protein organic fertilizer, the leaf area and thickness were significantly higher than CK, and the leaf fresh weight was significantly higher than CK.
The above results show that the application of fish protein organic fertilizer to grapes has a good effect on the growth and development of leaves, which is conducive to enhancing the photosynthesis of grapes and grapes, increasing the light and products of grapes, thus helping to increase the yield of grapes and improve the quality of grapes.
2. Effects on Grape Fruit Development
According to experiments, the application of fish protein organic fertilizer has a good effect on the yield and quality of grapes. Using fish protein organic fertilizer, the average ear weight of grapes was significantly higher than the CK group, which showed a good effect on the soluble solids of grapes.
The yield of applying fish protein organic fertilizer was significantly higher than the CK group, and the highest yield was soil application + foliar spraying, and the yield increased by 34.6%, reaching a very significant level.
Conclusion
Field test results show that fish protein organic fertilizer has a good promoting effect on the growth and development of grape leaves, and also has a significant effect on the yield and sugar content of grapes. Among them, the combination of soil application and foliar spray has the best effect, and soil application is better than pure foliar spray.
