Biodegradation of Alginate Oligosaccharides
Dora Agri utilizes specific algin lyase to hydrolyze alginate. Alginate lyase can degrade alginate into biologically active alginate oligosaccharides through β-elimination mechanism.
In practical application, alginate oligosaccharides are usually used as fertilizer synergist, which have super compatibility and can be compounded with traditional fertilizers. Such as Compound Fertilizers, Urea, DAP, Granular Potash, Foliar fertilizers. Adding alginate oligosaccharide to NPK can significantly improve fertilizer efficiency(20%-30%).

Functions for Plants
1. Increase Crop Growth
Alginate Oligosaccharide can induce the production of callus, significantly enhance the content of hormones (indoleacetic acid, etc.) in cells, stimulate the expression of auxin-related genes by promoting the content of hormones, lipase, amylase and protease, and promote seed germination and seedlings grow and take root.
2.Stimulate Plant Resistance Ability
The application of alginate oligosaccharide can induce and increase the secretion of plant growth hormones such as abscisic acid in plants. The research results show that alginate oligosaccharide can induce the accumulation of abscisic acid in plants, reaching 5-7 times the normal level, and has a significant anti-stress effect.
