Fish Protein hydrolysates can improve plant physiological functions, promote tissue growth (including increased bud and root biomass and productivity) and enhance plant tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses.
Fish protein hydrolyzate is a small fragment peptide containing 2-20 amino acids, which has good nutritional composition, amino acid characteristics and antioxidant activity, and can be used as a nutrient source (carbon source, nitrogen source and energy) and plant fertilizer for microbial growth. It is widely used in the cultivation of various horticultural crops and crops.
It has obvious advantages in promoting crop growth, improving crop yield and quality, nutrient use efficiency and environmental tolerance.
Dora Agri took cucumber as the research object and fish protein hydrolyzate as the test material, designed different contents of fish protein hydrolyzate to soak the seeds and irrigate the roots of cucumber, and explored the effect of fish protein hydrolyzate on cucumber seed germination, seedling growth, nutrient absorption and matrix nutrients. The effect of characteristics.
Table 1 Effects of FPHs on Cucumber Seeds
Table 2 Effects of FPHs on the growth of cucumber seedlings
Root irrigation with fish protein hydrolysate increased the plant height, stem diameter and seedling strength index of cucumber seedlings.
The germination characteristics of cucumber seeds (radicle length, hypocotyl length, germination potential, germination index, vigor index, etc.) increased with the increase of the dilution ratio of fish protein hydrolyzate, and the effect of promoting cucumber seed germination was remarkable.
Among them, fish protein hydrolyzate 1 000 times solution and 1500 times solution had better effects on promoting seed germination, and 1000 times solution had the best effect and the highest seed germination potential (0.87).
Fish protein hydrolyzate 100 times solution and 200 times solution for root irrigation had good effect on promoting the growth of cucumber seedlings. And FPHs100 treatment had the best effect on increasing the relative content of chlorophyll, and FPHs 200 treatment had the best effect on promoting root growth of seedlings (root volume, total root length).
