γ-Polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA) is a new type of soluble and environmentally friendly polymer material fermented by microorganisms, it synthesized from L-glutamic acid and D-glutamic acid through amide bonds. γ-PGA was first discovered in the capsule of Bacillus anthracis in 1937 and is an important part of the capsule of Bacillus anthracis.
In 1942, researchers extracted γ-PGA from the fermentation broth of Bacillus subtilis, and later found γ-PGA in Bacillus natto. Because γ-PGA is easy to disperse, non-toxic, and harmless, as a new type of green polymer material, it is widely used in the fields of medicine, agriculture, and food.

Field Trial of γ-PGA
1. On Pepper Growth
On 2019, we used γ-PGA water soluble fertilizer on pepper seedlings, to improve seedling survival rate and promote stable root growth.
After seedling stage, we used two times at growth stage, to help pepper absorb nutrients better, and reduce pepper diseases.
2. On Tomato Growth
In May 2019, our customer in Shangdong Province used γ-PGA fertilizer on greenhouse tomatoes. Total 3 times during the whole growth period.
Compared to the CK group, the treat group have the uniform coloring, better appearance & taste. And early ripening of tomatoes.
3. On Cucumber Seedling
In December 2019, our customer from Shandong province used γ-PGA on cucumber seedlings.
From the comparison chart, we can clearly find that the effect is very significant. Treat group’s leaves are bigger and the root system was better developed.
