Application of Amino Acid Fish Protein Fertilizer on Blueberry

Amino acid fish protein is a new type of high-efficiency organic fertilizer that has emerged in recent years. The fertilizer adopts modern biochemical molding technology and uses fish protein extracted from deep-sea fish as the main raw material.

In order to explore its application effect on blueberry, the ‘Legacy’ blueberry was used as the test material, amino acid fish protein was applied with different dilution times, and the average fruit weight, soluble solids, total sugar, total acid, anthocyanins, Total polyphenols, total flavonoids and vitamin C content.

The results showed that applying different times of amino acid fish protein was beneficial to increase single fruit weight, soluble solids and total sugar content, reduce total acid content, and increase sugar-acid ratio. However, applying amino acid fish protein was not conducive to the increase of vitamin C and total flavonoid content, nor was it beneficial to the increase of anthocyanin and total polyphenol content.

When blueberry was washed with different times of amino acid fish protein, the single fruit weight, soluble solid content and total sugar content increased significantly, the total acid content decreased significantly, and the sugar-acid ratio increased significantly.

Adding amino acid fish protein to blueberries has no effect on the increase of anthocyanins, vitamin C, total polyphenols and total flavonoids. From the perspective of increasing the weight of single fruit and the ratio of sugar to acid, it is advisable to apply 1000 times of amino acid fish protein solution.
