Effect of Dora’s Watermelon Customization Plan on Fruit Quality

In order to explore the stimulating effect of Dora melon customization scheme on the improvement of watermelon quality, yield and sweetness.

2. Materials and Methods

The watermelon selected for the test was “Jinmeidu” watermelon, and the biological fertilizers used in the test were Dora Fresoil, Dora Rootguard, Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Dora Kelpreal, and Dora Arouse Ca Mg+. The products are all produced by Suzhou Dora Agri-Tech.

Experiment Method: The trial period is from June 6, 2023 to August 10, 2023. The place where this experiment is carried out is located in the main watermelon-producing area of Hunan Province, with a test area of 666.7 ㎡.

In this experiment, a total of 2 treatments were set up, the control group CK and the experimental group A, and it was ensured that the two treatments were treated with the same base fertilizer.

The control group used the conventional fertilizer operation method.

The fertilizer operation method of the experimental group is to use 65g of Dora Fresoil for soil application in the early stage of watermelon growth and add water to dilute it 1500 times.

Use 5g Dora Rootguard per liter of water to dip the roots in the process of watermelon transplanting. 

Apply 0.7L Dora Kelpreal in the vegetative growth period  500 times of foliage spraying.

Apply 0.7L of Dora Kelpreal diluted 500 times for spraying during the fruit setting period.

10g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate diluted 1000 times for leaf spraying, 600g of Dora Arouse Ca Mg+ diluted 1500 times for drip irrigation.

Fruit expansion period every once a week, dilute 500 times 0.7L and spray Dora Kelpreal.

5. Conclusion

This watermelon fertilizer experiment effectively proved the feasibility of Dora’s watermelon synergistic scheme. In terms of the yield that farmers are concerned about, the experimental group achieved a nearly 50% increase in the yield of watermelons; in terms of the measurement of sweetness quality, the experimental group also increased the data measured by the control group by 11%.

To sum up, the use of Dora’s watermelon synergy scheme can effectively increase the economic value of farmers planting watermelons, and make watermelons have a sweeter taste so that farmers can obtain higher income.
